Very proud to have been a student of TSHS. Really cherish my five years there. Moved on to DDIAE/Mt Gravatt Teachers' College to do a Dip T in Special Education. Married in 1976 and moved to Sutherland Shire (Sydney) where I worked at a school for disabled children. Peter and I moved to Brisbane in 1980 and still reside at Chermside West. In 2000, obtained a qualification in TESOL and spent 16 delightful and rewarding years as an ESL teacher. Peter and I have been blessed with four beautiful daughters, four wonderful sons-in-law and are expecting our ninth grandchild in July.

My father Daryl Turner was also a Teacher there for many years until his retirement in the Manual Arts department teaching Woodwork and Tech Drawing.

After leaving school, I trained as a teacher in Toowoomba and then worked as a teacher, psychologist and manager for the Education Department across Queensland for over 40 years.My family and I moved to Warwick in 1989 where I still live with my wife, Mary.
